2019 NBA Draft

Milwaukee might not have had a pick last night, but there was still plenty of entertainment at the Barclays Center during the 2019 NBA Draft.

Quick Recap:

As predicted by 101% of analysts, Zion was drafted as the number one pick of 2019. Followed by Ja Morant to the Grizzlies and RJ Barrett to the Knicks.

If the Bucks would’ve held onto their 30th pick rather than sending it to Cleveland, they would’ve had the choice of Kevin Porter Jr., Carsen Edwards or Bol Bol – all of which could end up being great players in the league someday.

I know there are many people out there that are fine with the organization forfeiting the final pick of the first round, but the recent track record of players drafted 30th overall is pretty strong; two all-stars in Jimmy Butler and David Lee, as well as Kevon Looney and Kyle Anderson.

On another front, the Draft coverage, interviews, and social conversation was second to none. Darius Garland showed up in a tailored Fear of God suit that looked like he was set for a pilgrimage to the holy land. Besides grabbing the attention of major outlets like GQ, LA Times, and The Undefeated, Garland also caught Twitter attention...

Prior to 2010, the draft was the highlight of hoops in the summer. Then LeBron changed everything when he publicized his free agency move to South Beach.

Be on the lookout for a number huge free agency moves starting June 30th. Here are just a few of the all-stars hitting the market: Kawhi, AD, Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, KD, Jimmy Butler, Kris Middleton, Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker.

As always, Bucks in Six.

I’ll leave you with a few more fit pictures:
